2012 China (Ningbo) International Sourcing Fair on Lamps, Lanterns and Accessories & LED Illumination Exhibition

China is one of the fastest urbanizing countries in the current world. Under the national macro-control policy of “Enlarge domestic demand to promote economic growth”, China will quicken up the construction of major infrastructure in the future, such as comfort housing projects, railways, highways and airports. LED, known as the fourth-generation green light source, is the global most promising advanced technology field in recent years, which drives the transform in the lighting industry. In 2013, the demand of LED lighting will exceed the backlight source for the first time. China has classified the LED lighting as a strategic new industry under the “12th Five Years Plan”, and Ningbo has been included in the national experimental cities of“Ten Cities Million Lamps” semiconductor lighting applications engineering. Thus, the total demand of LED lighting will reach trillion Yuan in the next few years.

■Introduction

“2012 China (Ningbo) International Sourcing Fair on Lamps, Lanterns and Accessories & LED Illumination Exhibition” focuses on promoting the development of China’s lighting industry, enhancing the international communication and cooperation and raising the enterprise brand and popularity to advance the overall development of China’s lighting industry; the exhibition area of 20000 m2 and 1000 special exhibition spaces will be provided by this exhibition.

The exhibition will invite nationwide agents/distributors/import and export merchants of lighting and electrical products, architectural design institutes(offices), city illuminated sights planning/construction companies, municipal/illuminated roads construction companies, stage lighting design companies, outdoor advertising manufacturers, car manufacturers, governmental energy conservation and environmental protection departments, engineering construction contracting/ systems contracting/ decorating/ installing companies, governmental city construction departments, purchasing departments of hotels /office buildings and other users, universities and colleges and etc., and the governmental purchasing departments and foreign purchaser groups(such as from Europe, America, Middle East, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea) are the main invitees.

■Exhibition Review

The last exhibition was held successfully at Ningbo International Convention & Exhibition Centre from 10 to 12 May 2010, with nearly 10,000 m2 exhibition area, more than 400 exhibitors and thousands of items on display, which provided an all-around sourcing platform for purchasers at home and aboard.

This three-day exhibition attracted 22862 professional visitors both here and abroad, the foreign visitors of which accounting for 22% were from about 37 countries, such as European Union, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, Russia, Middle East and Africa.
