Fears: Katie Smith
A student’s life has become a nightmare over her fear of high ceilings.
Katie Smith, 21, was too scared to go to her graduation because it was held in a chapel.
And she had a panic attack on a romantic Paris holiday when her boyfriend David took her to Notre Dame Cathedral.
Her altocelarophobia means she has to try to avoid shopping malls, stations and airports.
Katie, of Bungay, Norfolk, said: “Huge roofs terrify me.
"I’m scared of spiders, too, but I’d rather hold a tarantula than enter a cathedral.
