With their continuous growth, China is poised to become the leading tourist destination in the world by 2016, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization.

An annual report, The Blue Book of China's Tourism Economy (2011), estimated that 132 million inbound tourists generated US$46 billion income for China. China's large growth in the inbound tourism industry is mainly due to the lifting of travel controls, and the Chinese Governments massive investment in transportation facilities such as roads, railways and airlines.

With its tourist sites with historical significance, geographical sites and welcoming culture, tourists are flocking to China to get an experience like no other and China has made a real effort in the last few years to encourage tourists to visit by relaxing their regulations to accommodate them.

The dramatic increase in travellers has lead many tour operators in China to increase their services. China International Travel Service (CITS) are the largest travel service company in China and are increasing their tailor-made tour itineraries to deal with the increased interest in travelling around China.

Shu Yu from CITS states that "With Chinese citizens hunger for new travel options, we continually have to ensure that we are offering premium services to our consumers. If we did not maintain up to date travel options we would very quickly lose our position as front runners in our industry."

CITS, since 1954, is a leading enterprise in China travel industry, an all-inclusive tour operator provides all kinds of travel service for travellers who can make inquires and bookings online.
